Stone sculpture ‘’Woman in Motion’’ depicts the relief of a dark polished female body against a background of grey treated black marble from the Belgian Ardennes. It is a very rare flat stone. The woman in motion really stands out because of this contrast in color and surface. The body has a diagonal posture, with her arms spread and her hair waving in the wind. Hereby she makes a carefree and happy impression, as if she’s floating around in a flower field. This makes it a very suitable garden sculpture.
